What is the Coaching Process?

An initial coaching engagement addresses a specific situation and path, as does each session.

Following a process provides focus and measurable results for the duration of the coaching engagement as well as each session. It looks like this:

ASSESSMENT

Depending on the situation at hand, an initial assessment – for the business or the professional – provides clarity on the circumstances and what the goals  of the coaching contract are.

STRATEGY

Informed by the assessment results and desired outcomes, coach and client then co-create a plan, with measurable objectives and that move the client toward the results they want.

IMPLEMENTATION

Encouraged by feedback and supported by accountability provided by the coach, the client implements changes that move the needle toward the desired results more rapidly.

TRACKING

Progress toward results is tracked throughout, from initial state of affairs to goal attainment, ensuring that the co-created plan remains on track and results are achieved as desired.
