Second, the execution of the plan is part of our approach. Once the planning has concluded, we shepherd you through the implementation process. We do this with regularly scheduled feedback sessions that provide the space to create solutions for issues that might be encountered and also provide the accountability necessary for continued progress toward achieving your goals.

1. ESTABLISHING PARAMETERS

Establishing the applicable timeframe for the strategy and the planning itself, as well as who is involved and what needs to be addressed, sets the stage for the process to begin.

2. ANSWERING BIG PICTURE QUESTIONS

This clarifies where the organization stands with its vision, mission and values, its customers, products and services, and competitors.

3. IDENTIFYING STRATEGIC PRIORITIES

Identifying up to three focus areas determines how the organization’s efforts and resources will be allocated over the next 6 to 12 months.

4. ALIGNMENT AND ACCOUNTABILITY

Creating alignment, determining key performance indicators and accountability parameters are important for tracking continued attainment of the established goals.

5. EXECUTING THE PLAN

The most crucial step to any plan is its implementation. During this phase, the advisor works with the leader(s) to address any obstacles and keep the execution momentum going.
